Covington Square in Plano 

Covington Square is a residential neighborhood of Plano Texas in the western portion of Plano nicely located near to several trail systems great for an active lifestyle. The neighborhood also gives easy access to Interstate 75 making commuting into Dallas and larger areas extremely easy. Legacy Drive Village

On the corner of Legacy Drive and Independence Parkway is the Legacy Drive Village Shopping Center. This shopping center is only a little over a city block from the Covington Square neighborhood. The strip-mall-style shopping center is anchored by a Kroger grocery store and is also home to a Dunkin' Donuts as well as the Scrambler Café. Other retail shops include the Postal Annex and Once Upon a Child Plano. Just across the street from this shopping center is a Chipotle Mexican Grill and the Salsa Tex-Mex restaurant as well as the M3 salon. It is quite convenient for anyone living in Covington Square to run a few daily errands or grab a bite to eat just a couple minutes from their house.

Hoblitzelle Park Trail and Russel Creek

Hoblitzelle Park is a large community park that features three play structures and plenty of open green space with a system of hiking/walking trails that wind through community streets, around Russel Creek, and ponds. It is an amazing space to enjoy some outdoor physical activity or to relax and get away from the hustle of everyday life. The park is not far from the neighborhood and you could easily bike there.

The Courses at Watters Creek

The Courses at Watters Creek is near I-75 and only a few blocks east of the neighborhood. This golf club offers not one, but three different golf courses. There is the traditional Traditions Course with 18 holes of championship-style golf. There is the Players Course with 9 holes to get in a quick game. There is also the 6-hole Future Course for a short and fun challenge playable by any level of golfer. 

I-75 and Access to Dallas

I-75 is one of two major "highways" running north and south in Plano. The roadway is within minutes of Covington Square. All around the interstate are several amenities of Plano from the Cheesecake Factory to the golf course, to Walmart Supercenter, to the Cinemark Legacy, and much more. The actual road will give you easy access to the major metropolis that is Dallas Texas where endless activities abound as well as job opportunities. 

Public Schools for Covington Square

The public schools assigned to the Covington Square neighborhood are part of the Plano Independent School District. The Plano school district has long been a highly sought-after school district for many young families to be a part of. This is one of the reasons the town of Plano is so desirable to live in. Specific schools that are zoned for the Covington Square neighborhood include Hedgcoxe Elementary School, Hendrick Middle School, and Clark High School.
