It features a wide variety of home types and styles with easy access to everything in Plano and a short distance from the Central Expressway. Courses At Watters Creek
The Courses at Watters Creek is right in the Chase Oaks neighborhood. This golf club offers not one, but three different golf courses. There is the traditional Traditions Course with 18 holes of championship-style golf. There is the Players Course with 9 holes to get in a quick game. There is also the 6-hole Future Course for a short and fun challenge playable by any level of golfer.
Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve
The Oak Point Nature Preserve is the largest and most prominent park in the town of Plano. The park is home to a series of great nature trails as well as very calm bodies of water that are great for kayaking and paddle boarding. It is an amazing place to enjoy nature and feel like you have escaped city life for a while. This park spans 800 acres and is host to several of the Plano community's celebrations and festivities. Oak Point Nature Preserve is just north of Bob Woodruff Park. Oak Point Nature Park reserve is also the home of the Plano Balloon Festival or Baloonfest which is another popular Plano festival.
Bob Woodruff Park
Bob Woodruff Park is just a few minutes southeast of Chase Oaks on the south side of the nature preserve, it is most notable as the home of the Quincentennial Bur Oak tree in the southern portion of the park. This tree is quite possibly one of the oldest in the city of Plano and has a recorded history of about 500 years. It's some Plano residents still come to the park to clean the fresh pecans that fall from the tree in the fall season.
In addition to this famous landmark of Plano, the park is also home to the Bob Woodruff Park Trail which is paved and great for skating, walking, biking, and even wheelchair friendly. There is also a fun play structure for the small kids or the kid you know us.
Hoblitzelle Park is a large community park that features three play structures and plenty of open green space with a system of hiking/walking trails that wind through stress, creeks, and ponds. It is an amazing space to enjoy some outdoor physical activity or to relax and get away from the hustle of everyday life. The park is very close to the north end of the Chase Oaks neighborhood and within walking distance from this portion of Chase Oaks.
Shopping and Dining
There are several stores and restaurants just 10 minutes or less from the Chase Oaks neighborhood. The closest grocery stores include the 99 Ranch Market and The Walmart SupperCenter which are both at the intersection of E Spring Creek Parkway and the Central Expressway/Highway 75. They are about 2 to 5 minutes southeast of the neighborhood depending upon your specific location in Chase Oaks.
Just south of the neighborhood are the Chop Soy Asian Cuisine Restaurant and Mei Mei China Restaurant. Burger Break is also nearby on the corner of Alma Drive and W Spring Creek Parkways about a block southwest of Chase Oaks. There are also several other smaller stores and restaurants around the Walmart Shopping Center.

All public schools serving Chase Oaks are part of the highly regarded and highly rated Plano Independent School District.
