Cambridge Place Neighborhood in Plano

Cambridge Place is a residential neighborhood of Plano Texas it is one of the highly desirable neighborhood enclaves of the Russell Creek area of Plano. It is nicely located with quick and easy access to Interstate 75 making a trip into Dallas quick and easy. It is also popular for being centered on Capstone Park and offering large spacious homes within the Plano school district. 

Things to Do in and Near the Neighborhood

Capstone Park and Russell Creek

Capstone is a sizable park in the center of the neighborhood. It offers a large amount of open space to enjoy any kind of activity, a play structure, walking trails and run alongside Russell Creek. 

Russell Creek Park

Russell Creek Park is just a few minutes upstream form the Capstone neighborhood park in Cambridge Place. It is best known for the soccer fields and as a spot for Lacrosse and Football tournaments. It is also home to the cricket league with seven fields the only park to have this many cricket fields in one location in America. There are 20 full-size sports fields in total at the park, concession stand, shaded area with tables and seating, public restrooms, pond, and the creek. 

Davis Library

Davis Library is one of the many branches of the Plano Public Library system. It is located just a few minutes south of the neighborhood. 

Stonebriar Mall at the Bridges

Located at the intersection of Preston Road and the Sam Rayburn Tollway this small shopping mall is not far from Cambridge Place. It features  many large chains stores you would expect to see in a traditional American shopping mall as well as an AMC movie theater, a food court, a carousel, and a few larger restaurants including the Cheescake Factory, Smokin Oak Woodfired Pizza, and more. 

Town of Frisco

Frisco is a small city in Texas located just 25 minutes north of the metropolitan city of Dallas and neighboring to the city of Plano. Home to 7 different professional sports teams, different venues and sports pavilions scatter the city providing fun for all ages. Museums, an art district, central park, and retailers are a few of the many reasons so many choose to call Frisco, home. Directly to the West of the cities border is Lewisville Lake where you can enjoy a weekend of camping, fishing, hiking, boating and more.
