Frisco’s Starfest is Almost Here!
While many people wander the streets of Frisco by day, enjoying local restaurants and shops, even after night has settled in there is still so much to enjoy in the small town, with this weekend being no exception! Each month the Texas Astronomical Society puts on an event for both members as well as guests to come and enjoy the stunning night sky. Sprinkled with stars, you can observe the constellations, learn the stories of their origin, identify planets and so much more!
The event starts as soon as the sun goes down, with setup during sunset and ends at 10:30pm. During this event Frisco Commons Park transforms into a star party you won’t wat to miss. The event I free and you can use one of the provided telescopes to learn all about astrology while searching the night sky for planets, shooting stars or your favorite constellations.
Frisco Starfest is held on the second Saturday of each month as long as weather permits and has become a local favorite for Frisco residents of all ages. Whether you’ve had a love for astrology your whole life, or you’re new to searching the skies, this event provides a fun, free and safe space to pick up a new hobby that the whole family can enjoy.
